About
Studio Pirrie Green is an interdisciplinary collaboration between architect Nick Green and graphic designer Greig Pirrie. This partnership draws on a breadth of experience designing projects from public realm interventions and private and community buildings, to brands and graphic identities. The studio has worked across a range of scales, collaborating with craftspeople, fabricators and creators to bring projects to life.
Our Team
Architect
Nick has worked with practices in Edinburgh and Copenhagen on a range of award- winning public, domestic, and community-focused projects. His work includes sensitive contemporary interventions to historic buildings and, as a Certified Passivhaus Designer, highly-efficient low energy designs. He enjoys exploring the innovative use of materials and colour, alongside model-making as a design tool. Nick’s designs have been published in Dezeen, The Architect’s Journal, The Architectural Review, and Wallpaper*, and he has contributed articles to RIAS Quarterly and ArchitectureLGBT Scotland magazines.
Greig Pirrie
Graphic Designer

Greig’s work is driven by a passion for engaging design solutions. He understands the execution required to produce effective commercial outcomes while always seeking to answer these challenges with powerful and fresh design ideas that contribute to the culture and craft of his profession. Having originally studied architecture, Greig became fascinated with the role graphic design plays in communicating ideas, and has brought this valuable perspective to his work with design agencies across Scotland for a wide range of commercial, individual and third-sector clients.
