Description
This project uses a palette of warm materials, bright paint colours, and bespoke joinery to restore and complement the original 1960s’ features of a mid-century flat in Edinburgh. Across a series of rooms, colourful geometric forms and strategic structural interventions combine to create a playful, welcoming home. Products such as cork flooring, Foresso (wood chip terrazzo) boards, three-dimensional tiles, and Valchromat (through-coloured MDF) sit alongside restored fluted glass doors and minimal birch ply panelling.
Collaborators: Sorell (doors/panelling) & Edinburgh Woodwork (bookcase)
